kei kuroshima has always been a question without an answer. a quiet contradiction. caught between two cultures and a home that never felt like one, he learned early on that silence was safer than honesty, and distance hurt less than being misunderstood.people say he is cold. distant. hard to read. they talk like they know him, but they never stayed long enough to understand. kei never asked to be feared. he never wanted to be alone. he tried to reach out, more times than he can count, only to be shut down, misread, left behind. so eventually, he stopped reaching.his family did not break apart all at once. it unraveled slowly. his parents stayed together for appearance, not love. their house was filled with silence, like a tension no one dared to name. affection came with conditions. his voice never felt welcome. his softness was treated like a weakness. and so, he learned to keep it all inside.from the beginning, kei felt like he was watching the world from the outside. close enough to feel it, never close enough to belong. torn between his filipino warmth and japanese restraint, he was always expected to be quiet, to behave, to disappear when it was convenient. and he did.not because he wanted to. but because the world made him feel like there was no room for the way he felt things. too deeply. too visibly. too much.he never chose to be distant. the world made that choice for him. every misunderstanding, every shut door, every time someone looked through him instead of at him, carved out the space he lives in now.but kei is not empty. not numb. everything he cannot say lives in the way he moves, the way he sings, the way he wears his skin like art. he speaks through rhythm, through sharp glances and soft expressions. his fashion is deliberate. his silence, a language.he is not an outcast by choice. he is someone who loved too quietly and was never heard. and even now, behind all the stillness, he is still waiting. still hoping that someone might choose to listen.
